About
North City Family & Fitness Centre on Upper Conran Street in Harpurhey brings swimming, fitness and soft play to the local community. The gym has cardio machines and free weights for your workouts, and the 25-metre pool offers lane swimming and lessons for all ages. There's a health suite with sauna and steam room where you can relax after your session. Classes include aqua fitness, Zumba, yoga, Pilates, HIIT, group cycle and boxfit every day, with popular LBT sessions and strength conditioning too. Soft play keeps younger children entertained while you exercise. Swimming lessons and women-only swim sessions are available, and we run activities for over-50s. This facility is part of a unique collection of community and elite facilities governed by Manchester Active, a not for profit organisation established and overseen by Manchester City Council.
